Shining Light on the Silent Crisis of Infant Abandonment
This is the official site of Thomas Smith, a retired paramedic, minister, and author of Abandoned Infant. Thomas is a powerful, heart-stirring expert on an issue that most people prefer not to mention, but every year, thousands of babies and children are victims of it.
His work is a combination of real-life effects and emotional narratives to give a voice to the neglected infants and a piece of advice to the families that are grappling with fear, silence, and tough decisions.
However, the mission of Thomas is very simple but life-changing:
Educate. Empower. Prevent abandonment. Save lives.
Read his work, get to know the truth behind the statistics, and get to know what every parent can do to save the kids in his or her life.
A Creative Spark That Became a Lifelong Journey
The Day in the Life of a Sneaker is a delightful and imaginative story born from a simple classroom assignment, yet it grew into something far more meaningful. When Deanna’s English instructor wrote the phrase “The Day in the Life of a Sneaker” on the chalkboard, it sparked a creative challenge she never forgot.
In this uplifting and playful book, Deanna invites readers into a world where ordinary objects find their voice. Through humor, curiosity, and a fresh perspective, the story explores how even the simplest things around us can hold unexpected adventures and teach us something about ourselves.
Brimming with personality and heart, The Day in the Life of a Sneaker celebrates imagination, hard work, and the joy of seeing the world from a different angle—reminding readers that inspiration can come from the most unlikely places.
A Reflective Journey Into Faith, Life, and Everyday Struggles
Beyond the Window is a thoughtful and deeply moving collection of reflections that illuminate the real challenges and joys of Christian living. Drawing from biblical truth and lived experience, the book explores marriage, parenting, emotional battles, faith, and the misunderstandings that often cloud our spiritual paths.
Each chapter invites readers to look past outward appearances to see “beyond the window” into the quiet, hidden moments that shape our character and our relationship with God. With warmth and clarity, these writings show how Scripture speaks into the everyday realities we all face, offering encouragement, wisdom, and hope.
Whether you’re seeking spiritual clarity, comfort during difficult seasons, or a deeper connection between faith and daily life, Beyond the Window provides heartfelt guidance for the journey.

Reviews
It is a book that I have never had the pleasure of reading before. Thomas Smith has authored one of the most revealing books. The narrations were so true to life that I cried on several occasions. This ought to be read by every parent, not because of fear but because of love for his or her children. This book transformed my communication with my daughter.
Review by Karen Mitchell
This book struck me as a father and high-school counselor. Thomas emotionally understands what drives a lot of teenagers to conceal their pregnancies. He is very strong in his message regarding communication, and it is bad. An excellent and life-saving novel.

“I couldn’t put this book down. Those chapters that were narrated by the baby were so pathetic and so well written. Thomas Smith is a genuine and sympathetic writer. I will never forget this book in years.
